Michelle Compty
DPT, PES
Michelle hails from Mukwonago, WI, and is a Marquette University alumna where she graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2009 and Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2012.
Michelle's therapy experience and prowess is in an outpatient, sports orthopedic setting. She is a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist with aptitudes in dry needling and blood flow restriction.
Michelle advocates that "movement is medicine" and treats individuals and athletes of all ages and ability levels with a collaborative approach.
Outside of the therapy room, Michelle can often be found at a local coffee shop, playing cards, and enjoying the ski slopes with her wife, Eileen. A former collegiate-level soccer player, Michelle has a newfound passion for triathlon racing, with experience in the sprint, Olympic, and half-Ironman distances.

Eileen Compty
DPT, ATC
Originally from Portage, Indiana, Eileen moved to Milwaukee to attend Marquette University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2004 and Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2006.
As a former team physical therapist for USA Speed Skating and as a licensed athletic trainer, Eileen found her passion working with athletes and has become a highly sought-after sports medicine physical therapist in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Eileen resides with her wife, Michelle, in Milwaukee. They share a love for the outdoors, including downhill skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer.
As a Marquette alumna, Eileen is enthusiastic about rooting for the Golden Eagles, and despite having lived in Wisconsin for many years, she remains an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Do I need a doctor's referral to start physical therapy?
No. Wisconsin is a direct access state for physical therapy, which means you can start care without waiting for a physician referral.
Does Ripple Effect Wellness accept insurance?
Ripple does not accept insurance. Upon request, a superbill may be provided so you can submit it to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

What is the cancellation policy?
Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
